June came with early mornings, late autumn colours, and a whole lot of action. From Knysna to Greyton, we kept our Jim Greens muddy and our calendars full. Winter’s here and we’re making it count.

Our Version of "Golden Hour"
We kicked off June in Greyton, working among the last bit of amber and red before the cold took over.
It’s one of those towns where every second tree feels like a painting this time of year, but behind the beauty, there’s some real work to do.
We focused on pollarding and crown cleaning, keeping the structure clean and the trees prepped for storm season.
Cold mornings, good coffee, even better trees = happy arbs.

A Bucket List Project @ Noetzie
Later in the month, we headed to Noetzie, Knysna, for a multi-day planting project that hit all the right notes.
Over two days, we planted ten Water Pears, each one carefully placed, properly prepped, and backed by the kind of aftercare plan that actually sets them up for success.
It’s the kind of job that doesn’t get flashy photos, but it’s some of the most important work we do. Long-term restoration, local species, correct spacing, and no shortcuts.
Ten new trees in the ground, ready to grow, and we're proud to have our name on it.

Quick PSA: The Season for Structure
Winter = visibility. Which means it’s the best time to correct poor growth habits, reduce risky limbs, and spot damage that’s easy to miss in summer.
If you’re dealing with large trees near your house, or any tree that's never been pruned properly, now’s the time.
That’s June.👌🏻
Cold hands, warm machines, and more trees in the ground than we started with.
See you in July.
