Hermanus Botanical Society contracted with Kyle and André from Overberg Arborists to remove trees that had fallen in Fernkloof Nature Reserve Gardens in one of the storms to hit the area in July 2021, trim surrounding dry foliage and chip as much of the biomass as possible.

They did an excellent job. leaving a neat pile of chippings that could be used as mulch in the garden, taking away some of what could not be chipped and advising us about managing the remaining biomass.

We will be using their services again in the Gardens to keep managing the accumulating biomass and can recommend their services to anyone who requires this kind of management of trees that need removal, chipping, or trimming.

We found them to be hard-working, reliable, service-orientated, and generally pleasant to deal with.
